Wheel Horse Tractors

·         The Wheel Horse Tractor was founded in 1946 by South Bend resident Elmer Pond.

·         Pond was building and selling several different models of garden tractors within ten years.

·         The brand was purchased by Toro in 1986 and retired in 2007.
