Commissioned by Vincent Bendix in 1932 as a showcase for Bendix automotive products (brakes, car starter parts, carburetors, etc.).
This is a one-of-a-kind prototype vehicle, hand-built by Bendix and Studebaker craftsmen.
The car was intended to market Bendix products internationally, not stateside. However, similar cars surfaced in the US around this time by Chrysler and DeSoto, the Airflows.
